Just went there to try it and I’ll say I won’t ever go to Taco Bell again! Or any other Spanish restaurant! Food was cooked perfectly, taste phenomenal, proportions are perfect and price is great as well! If you see this place and want good food stop by highly recommend!

Carnitas Michoacan is a quick service gem serving Mexican street food at reasonable prices. The menu has multiple options for breakfast and lunch/ dinner. The staff is friendly and helpful answering the questions we had about some items. The meats are made in house and items are made to order. The quesabirria tacos are delicious. The menu has multiple types of filling options for burritos which are huge. The various flavors of aguas frescas are tasty and refreshing. There is no inside dining, but the restaurant allows you to order inside or via the drive thru and has multiple tables outside to eat at.

Was craving a breakfast burrito, and not a fast food one. Found Michoacan on Google, and not disappointed. Very delicious, gonna be back with family

Super delicious! This is authentic Mexican food, not our Americanized TexMex. We had the super burrito which was enormous, the Birria tacos which are not on the viewable menu but they offer them everyday, and a tamale. I loved that they chopped up the steak on the burrito so it was easier to eat. The birria tacos were very flavorful and super cheesy, and the tamale had the slightest spice to it giving it a little heat and more flavor than your average tamale. There is no interior seating but they have plenty of picnic tables out front and behind the building. Two thumbs up! Major!

Interesting place. The staff is friendly, the establishment is clean. Menus are enlarged to cover the wall upon entry, also on menu board opposite the door as in a fast food restaurant. The aqua fresca is delicious. Food is good, a little salty, but good nonetheless. The corn tortillas are fresh, not store bought. The tamales are decent. This is a tiny place, expect to have very little standing room. There are tables outside. They do have a drive thru. Calling ahead for takeout might be your best option unless you enjoy shoulder to shoulder waiting. All in all, it's a nice spot to get a bite to eat that is genuine.

This is LONG overdue but I moved over here in September and I’ve probably came 3 times a month since lol. It is absolutely amazing and so flavorful. The staff at the window is always so sweet too not to mention they gave us KEYCHAINS! The Quesabirria tacos, Grilled Steak Quesadilla, and Mexican Pizza are some personal favorites.

Dude, let me tell you, this place is the bomb! Carnitas Michoacan is hands down the best Mexican food I've had in Fredericksburg, and I've tried 'em all. I've been coming here for a while now, and every single time, it's like a little taste of home (Texas or California, depending on your roots). The burrito? Forget about it. It's a masterpiece. The meat is so tender, the flavors are spot on, and the tortillas are perfect. I've had burritos all over the place, but none of them compare. And y'all, don't even get me started on the Mexican pizza. It's to die for! Seriously, it's like a party in your mouth. If you're looking for authentic Mexican food that'll make you want to do the Mexican hat dance, Carnitas Michoacan is the place to be. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in all of Fredericksburg. They are small, with only one table inside, but there tables outside where you can eat. When they first opened, they struggled a little with getting orders right, but they have since rectified that. Every time I go in there, food is freshly made, the people are nice, and I just really appreciate the quality that I receive. The quantity is also fair for the price. They have the best Mexican rice in town, and I appreciate that it doesn't have other things like peas and carrots in it. I know some people like that, but that is not my preference. Their green salsa is not overly spicy, but it has a nice kick. They're red salsa is very spicy, and sometimes I like to mix the two. My husband loves the super burrito, I almost always get the tacos because I can't have wheat. They have really good al pastor as well as steak and birria. If you are looking for quality tex-mex, I highly recommend this place.
